I am writing this letter to acknowledge the outstanding service and solid customer satisfaction that I have received as a result of working the Jeanne Topper of Prudential Carruthers Realty. My move here to Washington, DC from the Kenai Peninsula of Alaska has been one of the most difficult experiences of my life. However, my dealings with destination services and in particular, Prudential Carruthers Realty have been one of the few shining examples of good people doing good business. Jeanne has been upfront with me throughout the financing portion of this move experience, and was so thoughtful in her approach that I switched my business from Wells Fargo (who I had a pre-approval with) to Prudential Carruthers Realty.
Jeanne epitomizes for me what a good business individual should stand for, that being a good deal for both the business and for the customer. I have found her to be straight forward in her approach, honest in her opinions, and friendly in her interactions with me and my wife. I know that I will personally recommend her and her services to anyone I know who is moving to the Washington, DC area that is in need of someone to assist them in obtaining financing to purchase a new home. Jeanne is someone that Prudential Carruthers Realty should award for outstanding customer services.

I was just telling my credit union loan officer here at the library that the reason I chose to work with you over the credit union mortgage offers (Michelle does not do mortgages here) was the personal attention and your availability in person and online. In addition, your personal skills are terrific! She was very happy for me. Thanks for all the good advice. I hope that we can look into the home equity line of credit option that you mentioned on the phone to Steve last night when the time comes.
We put an offer in last evening and Steve and I will have the home inspection done tomorrow morning. I hope to hear good things about our offer soon.

I am writing to let you know of the wonderful job done by Jeanne Topper of PCR Mortgage Services. On March 2, 2008 I got a contract on a listing I had in Frederick, MD. The contract came with a pre-approval letter from a broker I had never heard of. The loan was supposed to be FHA and we were supposed to close on the property on March 28th.
According to the selling agent, the broker assured her that all was on schedule to close on the 28th and that the lender was Citi Mortgage. The 28th came and went without settlement occurring. So did April 4th, April 15th, and April 18th. The broker kept coming up with reasons why we were delayed and then decided to switch the whole file to BB&T. He then told us that BB&T was holding us up with a "desk-top review." (According to sources at BB&T, they do not use that terminology.)
Enough was enough and we told the buyers that they were in default and must make application with another lender. We wanted to make sure that they were truly qualified to purchase the home. I gave them Jeanne's number and told them that she would be happy to help them quickly.
The buyers made application through Jeannie who discovered that they were missing several things. She was in constant contact with the buyers and their agent to get everything they needed to make this loan work. Jeanne even drove to Germantown to meet them in the Target parking lot to get some of the papers she needed.
This was not an easy loan as there is a language barrier, but Jeanne jumped through every hoop and then some to make this happen and happen quickly. We settled on the property today. The buyers couldn't be any happier with Jeanne, and their agent, who is with another broker, said that from now on she is going to use Jeanne and PCR Mortgage for all of her buyers.
Kudos to Jeanne for such a wonderful job and I look forward to working with her again!

I hope someday our paths may cross again. But at any rate, I will certainly recommend you strongly to anyone who may need your services in the future. You really were able to turn on a dime from day one, very timely and responsive in answering my questions, and even anticipating a few! Although I have bought 4 houses, in the past I relied mainly on my wife to understand the issues surrounding finance and closing, and frankly I was a bit apprehensive about "going it alone." But, you came through in style and with flying colors at every step of the process. (And yes, you can quote me!)
I just love the house, and still can't quite believe that it actually happened. I have met some of the neighbors, and they are great. One even brought over his snowblower and cleaned off my driveway as we were emptying the second truck-load of stuff on Sunday morning! I am going to really enjoy it out there.
